Governance and Management Structure
The Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award is a joint venture between The Mark Scott Foundation and The Outward Bound Trust. Each organisation contributes to the strategic development and the management of the Award. The Mark Scott Foundation awards successful participants with The Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award and contributes significantly towards the development and monitoring of the Programme and to fundraising. The Outward Bound Trust delivers the Programme, both at its residential Centre at Loch Eil and through the services of its Glasgow based team Outward Bound Metro. The Outward Bound Trust also contributes significantly to fundraising for the Programme.

MSLFLA ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE

Overall strategy is agreed by The Mark Scott Foundation and The Outward Bound Trust. The Executive Group have completed a detailed business planning process and have adopted a written Business Plan. The Executive Group implement the agreed strategy and are assisted by the Operations/Advisory Group and the Fundraising/Marketing, Communications and Events Group. The services required to deliver the Award in urban locations are provided by Outward Bound Metro. Outward Bound Metro is as the name suggests urban based. Its staff are employees of the Outward Bound Trust. An Operations/Advisory Group has been set up to provide guidance on development and delivery of the Award.
